25% 2000
50% 2250
75% 2731
90% 3200
95% 3900
99% 4100

Of course, we see players much higher than 4100 now, so people’s MMRs may have slightly inflated, due to it being based on win/loss, but I guage it roughly on this.

Also, it depends on what you mean by “average” player. Most players are not very good, or are trolls. Thats why the results are skewed to the lower end.

If you look at people who actually try to play the game and get better, its much higher.

i did have 2500 until i lost some ranked match’s 😥

Average is 2500-3000, anything above that is a fairly experienced player. Above 4k are very competent players. Above 5k are extremely experienced and competent players. Above 5.5k is the top 1% of dota players. So, yes your are below average.

Everyone calls everyone else who is worse than them a noob.
