2 Dota2 beta folder
Hi, it’s been a few day that i’m unable to play dota2,although my ping is fine but when i enter a game or try watching a live game, i have stutter, lag, missing animations etc. (packet IN goes way too high,1000-2000-3000)
every time i login to game i get this massage:
Current item schema is up-to-date with version FA1BAE09.
WORKSHOP ERROR: “hero_imports” block in “itemtest_importtypes. txt” contains a Hero that isn’t in the “classes” section of itemtest_manifest. txt: tusk
GetUGCDetails failed? (UGC=0000000000000000 nFileSizeInBytes=0).
GetUGCDetails failed? (UGC=0844F1FA914017AE nFileSizeInBytes=0).
And also i occasionally get the message, written in read font about being unable to load hero models etc.
A few minutes ago i was searching around in steam folder and i noticed there is 2 “dota2 beta” folder in my steam directory
1-C:\Steam\Steamapp\Common\dota 2 beta(the size is exactly 5.33gb)
2-C:\Steam\dota 2 beta(the size is exactly 5.71gb)
i tried copying 1 of them out of steam directory(so only 1 of them remains on steam directory at a time).when i copy the first 1 to another place and try to start the game, steam want to update the whole dota 2/
And when i try to keep the 2nd one out of steam directory, when i start the game it gets stuck on connecting to dota server.
Now what i wanna ask is that i’m pretty sure that a few month ago there was only 1 dota2 beta folder(number 1 in this case)
Any one can tell me if this is normal or not.

re-install graphic drivers and also dota 2 !
i already did that yesterday, i deleted all the steam directory(formatted the whole drive, and i don’t mean quick format),reinstalled windows, steam and dota 2. still got the same problem.

Sry, that dosent solve it for me. i’m mainly have lag and missing antimation and in packet going to high. i think you have to what i said again. thanks for trying to help though
bump. at least anyone can tell me if they have the same 2 folder of dota 2 beta, like me?

ConVarRef force_vgui_priority_input doesn’t point to an existing ConVar
