Mineski’s Revenge? Johnny and Ah Fu to Team Up with Mineski Dota for Upcoming Tournaments

Troubled by the recent 322 scandal that involved former Mineski players Jacko “Jacko” Soriano, Jhoven “Jhoven” Pancho and Richard “Paseo” Minowa, the remaining players Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco, Jaysie “JayJay” Garan and Prieme Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil will be teaming up with Siong Tait “Johnny” Lee and Chuan “Ah Fu” Tue for the team’s upcoming LAN tournaments.

In a Facebook post, Johnny has confirmed that he will be flying in to the country this Friday to play with the Mineski Dota 2 Team for their upcoming LAN and online tournaments, starting off with the ESL PH Finals, up to and including the Pinoy Gaming Festival 2014, Mineski Pro Gaming League (MPGL) PH Grand Finals and MPGL SEA Grand Finals.

Johnny and Ah Fu recently stood-in for the incomplete three-man Mineski squad in Thailand to compete in a LAN Tournament. Both players are well-regarded Dota 2 professional players in the Malaysian scene, with Johnny being the former captain of Arrow Gaming and currently playing for Johnny’s Revenge.

Even with limited time and practice together before meeting up in Thailand, Mineski managed to score impressive victories against the other strong Southeast Asian teams such as MiTH. Trust and First Departure. Clawing their way down from the lower bracket, they made it to the grand finals, losing to eventual champion Team Malaysia. Dota 2 cns vs mineski net

Only time will tell as to how Johnny’s future with Johnny’s Revenge will pan out, as it is reported that Johnny and Ah Fu will be staying in the country until the end of the year to play under the banner of Mineski. Owa will be their 6th man in the roster, as it looks like they will be playing primarily with PlayHard.

Their current roster will be as follows:

Siong Tait “Johnny” Lee (Captain)
Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco
Jaysie “JayJay” Garan
Chuan “Ah Fu” Tue
Prieme Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil
Joshua “Owa” Dela Serna (6th man)

The revamped squad will be displaying their newly formed line-up online on Oct. 23 for the CNS Invitational Tournament. Look forward to them coming out with a bang that will definitely shake up the Philippine Dota 2 scene for the foreseeable future.
