i am so bad at invoker early game . hes one of my fvt heroes in dota but cant win with that shit.. later i am good with decision making and combos and all that stuff. i really suck early game tho.. any tips would be helpful..i get aghs close to 20 min while good player can get in 16-17 even in relatively worse lane

1. Go to lane with null and faerie fire
2. Make bassilus/RoA and brown boots
3. Make midas

In the laning stage, invoker is very vulnerable to ganks, but also deadly in the sense that cold snap + forge spirit + sun-strike gets you counter kills. So, whenever they come to gank you, be ready for opportunities to kill

Auto attack the wave as much possible, since you don’t have waveclear. If you keep the wave under enemy tower, you won’t miss any creeps even if you get ganked. In another sense, a 2 man rotation into 0 objective from your enemy.

Learn how to lasthit in a lobby. Use alacrity. Forget about sunstriking it makes you less focused.

Its my fav hero too . Here my little advise , just keep last hitting the creep ( deny some creep if u can ) and always alert with map missing . If top/btm lane especially enemy’s supp hero is missing . Just keep ur distance with mid hero and play safe under ur tower while last hitting the creep . Ask ur supp to ward if it necessary . But trust me , ward is very important for every moment in the game , so u can see where is ur enemy going to gank , farm , SoD or whatever . So map alert and ward would be very effective to keep you safe . 😊

I have 3000 + games in dota 2 with Invoker.
That said.
Everyone knows that Pushing the lane into tower is a big no no, Regardless of hero/lane
and you basically die More ez if you are under tower. And you cannot last hit under tower.
