KOTL and PL

Something needs to change with pl and kotl, pl himself is op but laning with unlimited mana is unbeatable in a pug. I’ve resorted to just leaving when i see this because i’ve come to terms no matter what it’s impossible to win in a pug against it. I don’t care about low priority, i just want this balanced out. I think everyone can agree pl is broken and will snow ball no matter what unless the player is a complete noob.

Pl is supposed to snowball. He is a carry. That’s what carry does.
As for PL and Kotl combo, try tiny+cent, or sven + lesh.
if you can find the people to play combo with you it’s not op, it’s just changing the way the game can be played.

You can counter PL with Dark Seer pull or Medusa Ultimate.

besides that, gank early and gank often.

Kotl is a great lane partner and baby sitter, but has low HP. If he gets out of position, be prepared to pounce. At any rate, you could talk strategies all day long, but in the end, the best advice is that given by many people. Quit whininig, it doesn’t win games. No offense intended. Also, low priority games will be much worse than normal games, as the people in them are either bad or smurfs. Both of those will compound the power of a carry ten fold.

Nyx is ideal since he reflects ALL of the damage with his carapace just at level 1- very good counter to KotL even without PL by his side, but he won’t spam his lance at you when a carapace is on the other end of it.

Buy wards. Play close to the creep wave. KOTL will have no choice then but to use his illuminate on PL’s creepwave to hit you. Just stay there until he begins charging at the creepwave, then back off. This will deny PL last hits and push the wave to your tower, where you can farm safely. Buy regen to shrug off any damage PL can do with his lance. Get a ranged hero to zone PL out of lane. PL will only be able to get off like two lances until KOTL can recharge his mana pool (every 16 seconds if KOTL maxed chakra magic) and that means being mana-less and open to attack in between if he spams it. A ring of regen, base magic resist, and base strength should be enough to shrug off lance spam. But, even so. There are so many heroes who can deal willy-nilly with that lane: Nyx, Omniknight, Necrolyte, Juggernaut, Silencer, Lion, etc.

Welcome to dota, shut the fuck up. This isn’t like league of legends. Very few concessions are made to low level players. Get better and then start with the balance suggestions.

let any carry to farm with any support ull have same situation..stop cry and go gank him and make usefull items for u (tranqul boots and cloak – they cant outlane u..)pick gyro or and counter hero and pl is joke..get pudge and own kotl..
this is dota every hero have anti-hero for himself , every spell , item have counter(repell-purge) (bfly-mkb) etc.
when dota 2 gets all heros from dota 1 will be full balanced coz now some heroes missing they counters (omni-abaddon. terrorblade is needed to counter these meta carrys now and more)
but pl-kotl is like every other 2 pro mates combo. no need for nerf or buff
