BellaPalazzo Ragdoll Cats is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Ragdoll cat breed. Occasionally there are Ragdoll kittens available for select homes or adult Ragdoll cats looking for a forever home of their own. Below you will find information about the breed I have chosen to work with, the Ragdoll cat, as well as many cat and kitten pictures. Please do your research on cat breeds and cat breeders before you make any decisions on purchasing a Ragdoll cat. BellaPalazzo is very selective about the placement of our kittens. Owning a pet requires a long term commitment to their care and happiness. We have done years of personal trial and error work to send you home with all of the very best information on how to raise and care for your new Ragdoll kitten from BellaPalazzo.

Please note: I raise Ragdoll kittens as a hobby. I love this breed, I love Ragdoll cats and Ragdoll kittens and I especially love MY babies. This is not a business for me. I do not make money, nor do I expect to. The costs are huge, and the hours are endless. I do not get vacation. I do not get days off. What I do get is endless hours of unconditional love and affection. priceless.

Ragdoll Kittens Available

Ragdoll kittens, like all pointed breeds, are born entirely white. The colorpoint gene that gives pointed breeds (such as the Ragdoll) their blue eyes and light body color with darker “points” produces pigment depending on the temperature. Inside the mother, the kittens are very warm and no pigment is produced. It is not until the Ragdoll kittens are born and exposed to cooler air temperatures that they will begin to produce pigment and their fur will show color in the parts of their bodies that do not have as much heat – the tail, feet, legs and ears (their “points”).
Pointed colors come in gradually as kittens age, and may not reach full intensity until the cat is 3-4 years old. As a colorpoint cat ages, they may darken through the body also, but should always show a clear definition between the body color and point color.

Please be patient if you are waiting for pictures. All of my pictures are taken in my house, by myself. and it requires the right lighting and a quiet house to get good photographs. I do not get on the computer every day to respond to email. Do not be discouraged if I am slow to reply, sometimes emails get lost or are accidently diverted to junk folders by my email program. and sometimes life is just busy here and I dont get to emails.
