Evil Geniuses are the Star Series X champions after 3-2 victory against Secret
What they could not do last season against Empire and DK, they did it this season against Team Secret. Evil Geniuses are the StarLadder X champions, after their 3-2 victory in the best-of-five grand final. The Americans will be taking home the $106,000 first place prize.
StarLadder Day 3: Team Secret goes to the finals
Both IAP and Virtus. pro were eliminated in the first round. In the following round, Alliance was able to upset by taking down Team Tinker. A dominating Secret Team preformance forces Evil Geniuses to the lower bracket finals.
StarLadder Day 2 : EG and Secret advance to WB finals
After the initial winner bracket matches, it will be Evil Geniuses and Secret facing off in the winner bracket final tomorrow. Despite putting up a fight, both Team Tinker and Natus Vincere were defeated and bumped down into the loser bracket.
StarLadder Day 2: Na’Vi breaks the tie, advances to Winner Bracket
The group stage of StarLadder Finals is in the books now, and in the aftermath of the back-and-forth group B, it is Na`Vi joining Secret in the winner bracket alongside EG and Team Tinker from group B. The remaining teams will start off in the lower bracket.
StarLadder Day 1: IAP takes down VP; Secret to upper bracket
The 10th season of StarLadder is about to see its conclusion as the LAN finals have kicked off. Underdogs IAP were able to upset after their initial loss to Na’Vi. The Philippines managed to take down VP. In group A, Evil Geniuses display a dominating performance, securing an early lead in the group. In group B, Team Secret has secured themselves a slot in the upper bracket.
bOne7 unable to play StarLadder, Mag to stand-in
StarLadder starts today, but unfortunately not without one more bump in the road. Cloud9’s bOne7 is unable to play due to a medical emergency. The team’s matches have been moved to tomorrow, giving them more time to find a stand-in.
